A building collapsed near Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan on Charoen Krung Road, resulting in one fatality.
On 20 June 2026, reporters received a report from the Rama 199 Radio Center at 16:57 that a building had collapsed near Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan on Charoen Krung Road. Fire and rescue personnel from Suan Mali Station arrived at the scene. Initially, a concrete slab from the second floor had collapsed onto a man, killing him. Officials and volunteers were in the process of removing the concrete slab from the victim’s body.
At 17:20, volunteers transported the deceased from the building collapse near Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan on Charoen Krung Road to Klang Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Facebook page of the Samphanthawong District Office posted that on 20 June 2026 at 16:57, the office responded to a collapsed building awning near Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan on Rama IV Road. Fire and rescue personnel from Suan Mali Station and other rescue units arrived at the scene. Initially, a concrete slab from the second floor had collapsed, killing one person. Officials and volunteers had already removed the body from the debris and were transporting it to the hospital.
They requested cooperation to avoid the area to allow officials to carry out their work smoothly.
