Sek Loso Granted Special Parole, Released from Prison with Warm Welcome by Nattawut

At Khao Kling Temporary Prison, "Sek Loso" embraced and kissed "Nattawut," who was there to welcome him after being granted parole and released from prison, although he must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet (EM).

On 24 June 2026, reporters reported that at Khao Kling Temporary Prison in Phetchaburi Province, "Sek Loso," or Mr. Seksan Sukpimai, a famous singer, was granted special parole and released wearing an EM bracelet. His wife, family members, close friends, fans, and Mr. Nattawut Saiyaku warmly welcomed him after he served a prison sentence for unauthorized possession of firearms and ammunition, resisting officers in the performance of their duties, and drug use.

When Sek Loso exited the prison, family members and Mr. Nattawut warmly embraced him, with Mr. Nattawut even kissing Sek Loso on the cheek in a close and friendly manner.

Sek Loso's total sentence was 2 years, 12 months, and 20 days, starting from 20 May 2025, with a scheduled release date of 31 May 2028. The Department of Corrections explained that during detention, Seksan was selected to participate in a special parole training program on applying the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to prisoners’ lives, under the royal initiative of Princess Bajrakitiyabha, at Khao Kling Temporary Prison affiliated with Phetchaburi Central Prison, for five months. Seksan behaved disciplinarily and successfully completed all training requirements.

On 3 June 2026, the 2026 Royal Pardon Act came into effect. Seksan, classified as a serious prisoner, was eligible for a royal pardon under sections 9(2) and 10(2), receiving a sentence reduction of 5 months and 20 days from the original term. This left a remaining sentence of 2 years, 6 months, and 30 days, adjusting the new release date to 13 December 2027.

Additionally, Sek Loso was approved for special parole by the Subcommittee on Parole Consideration in its 5/2026 meeting on 27 May 2026, and the Minister of Justice signed the approval on 19 June 2026.

Therefore, Phetchaburi Central Prison scheduled the release of Seksan Sukpimai under special parole for supervision, installing an electronic monitoring device (EM) on 24 June 2026. During the supervision period, Sek Loso must strictly comply with the probation officer’s conditions until the legal sentence completion date.
