Court Grants Bail to Tik Shiro in Drunk Driving Case Causing 2 Deaths, Sets Bail at 200,000 Baht

The court granted bail to “Tik Shiro” in the drunk driving case causing two deaths, setting bail at 200,000 baht and imposing a condition prohibiting travel outside the country.


On 24 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reports stated that the Minburi Criminal Court sentenced “Tik Shiro,” also known as Manaswin or Sak Nantasen, to 4 years in prison for drunk driving causing two fatalities. The defendant’s confession reduced the sentence by half, resulting in 2 years imprisonment. Considering the case circumstances, both the co-plaintiff and defendant have yet to reach a compensation agreement. After the verdict was read, the defendant filed a bail request pending appeal, submitting an insurance policy worth 200,000 baht as security.

The Minburi Criminal Court reviewed and approved the temporary release during the appeal stage, setting bail at 200,000 baht. The court imposed conditions prohibiting travel outside the Kingdom without court permission and forbidding similar offenses to those charged; otherwise, it would be considered a bail violation.
