Urgent: Police Detain Sedan Driver Who Delivered Suspicious Package to Air Mina at Condo

Police have detained the sedan driver who transported a man wearing a blue hood to deliver a suspicious package to "Air Mina" at the condominium for intensive questioning after apprehending him in Ayutthaya. The driver admitted to driving there but denied other allegations.

On 3 July 2026, following the arrest of a Thai Airways flight attendant involved in smuggling heroin into Australia, the Narcotics Control Board intensified the search for the mysterious man wearing a black hooded shirt who delivered a suspicious package to the flight attendant at the condo on 22 June 2026.

Recent reports indicate police have now detained the person who delivered the suspicious package suspected of concealing heroin to Air Mina.

According to Police Major General Theeradej Thammasuthir, Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, police have taken into custody the mysterious man who was the sedan driver for the man in the blue hood who carried the suspicious package from the car's trunk to the flight attendant's condo in the Bang Na area around noon on 22 June. The police summoned the man from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province for questioning at the Metropolitan Police Bureau.

Initially, the man denied wrongdoing but admitted to driving to Ms. Mina’s condo. Further details are being investigated during questioning.

After the detention, Police General Samran Nualma, Deputy Commissioner of Police, along with Police Lieutenant General Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, personally participated in the interrogation.

CCTV footage shows the man in the blue hood removing the package from the car’s trunk and leaving the trunk open before carrying the package to the condo's management office. This suggests the car was not locked, and authorities believe others were likely inside the sedan during the transfer.
