A man carrying methamphetamine claimed to have an invisibility skill, raising his hands to recite a spell, but ultimately it failed and the police took him to jail.
On 8 Jul 2026 at 19:00, Pol. Lt. Col. Yongyut Wan Nuea, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation at Bang Lamung Police Station, along with Pol. Lt. Col. Wutthipong Kasa, Superintendent of Investigation, and Police Sub-Lieutenant Natthan Chanthawong, Deputy Superintendent (Investigation), led a team to track and arrest narcotics offenders in Soi Sukhumvit Pattaya 33/1, Moo 6, Na Kluea Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province.
During their operation, the police encountered a man acting suspiciously, speaking incoherently like a drug user and appearing restless. Officers identified themselves and requested a search, finding two methamphetamine pills in his hand. The man was identified as Mr. Peeraphong, age 32.
When the police found the meth pills, the man raised his hands and recited some incantations, claiming he could make himself invisible with the spell. Officers allowed him to finish quietly while observing. After the chant, he remained fully present along with the drugs, so the police took him in for questioning.
Initial drug tests on him revealed the presence of illicit substances. He admitted he had used methamphetamine earlier that morning.
The police charged him with two offenses: illegal possession of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) and illegal use of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine), before detaining him for further legal proceedings.
