Fake Thai Father Opens Up: Girlfriend Introduced Me to Chinese Women, Signed Recognition for 2 Children, Received 4,000 Baht Compensation

The fake Thai father admitted that his new girlfriend introduced him to Chinese women who wanted children with Thai nationality. He received 4,000 baht as compensation for lost taxi driving time and signed recognition for two children. He apologized to society, while "Prachuap" remained silent.

At 10:00 a.m. on 10 Jul 2026 GMT+7, police brought suspects for fingerprinting. One suspect was Mr. Ong-art. When asked about the case, he said he married "Li Yen Zheng," a Chinese woman who was a friend of his new girlfriend, trusting her and helping because she wanted to live in Thailand. He insisted he did not receive payment for the marriage registration.

When asked if he knew his actions might be illegal, Mr. Ong-art admitted he was afraid and felt pressured to complete the paperwork.

Mr. Ong-art also confessed he signed recognition for two children, offspring of "Li Yen Zheng" and a Chinese man. He said that about five years after marrying the Chinese woman, they divorced, but she later became pregnant and gave birth without anyone recognizing the child. Her relatives then asked him to sign. The first child is now about nine years old, and his then-girlfriend knew everything.

He expressed apologies to society for the incident and said although he had not yet spoken with his ex-wife’s daughter that morning, he believed she was already aware. He said he never hid anything from his daughter and expected she would be upset. He emphasized he had no personal relationship or cohabitation with the Chinese women and was not personally connected to the Chinese group.

Regarding the two times he signed recognition, Mr. Ong-art said a third party coordinated everything. He signed at a hospital but could not recall who arranged it. He denied receiving payment for signing, only cash compensation of 2,000 baht each time for lost taxi driving and car rental expenses. The two signings were about two to three years apart.

Meanwhile, police brought in Mr. Prachuap, who was once a nominee shareholder of China Railway Number 10 (Thailand) involved in the Office of the Auditor General building collapse case, for fingerprinting. Reporters asked if he wanted to explain anything, if he knew any Chinese people, why he signed recognition, how many children he recognized, and about his concerns regarding the prior building collapse case and whether his lawyer advised him not to speak. Mr. Prachuap did not respond.

Investigators are urgently searching for another child of "Ong-art" involved in the fake Thai father network.

Recent investigation data shows documents listing 20 children connected to recognition signatures by fake Thai fathers, found across five hospitals. Some children have Thai first and last names, raising suspicions of attempts to avoid scrutiny, while others have Thai first names and Chinese surnames. Some suspects signed recognition for one child, others for two. Notably, Mr. Ong-art claimed to have recognized two children, but police have evidence of only one. Authorities are urgently seeking the second child he mentioned to strengthen the case.
