Police Colonel Theeraphat Bunditohiranchot, head of the investigative unit in Nakhon Nayok province, has personally offered a reward and called for tips to catch a motorcycle thief who repeatedly committed crimes in the area before fleeing to Bangkok near Rama 7.
On 12 July 2026 in Nakhon Nayok, reporters reported that Police Colonel Theeraphat Bunditohiranchot personally offered a 10,000 baht reward for information leading to the arrest of a motorcycle thief near a convenience store at a gas station in Mueang district, Nakhon Nayok. On 3 July 2026 at about 10:50 p.m., the suspect stole items from a noodle shop, then walked about 200 meters to rob the convenience store, before stealing a motorcycle parked in front and fleeing.
Miss Apinya, owner of the boat noodle shop, said that when she arrived in the morning to prepare the shop, she saw the cabinet door had been forced open and items were rummaged through. Checking the CCTV revealed two men, about their 30s, sneaking under a tarp into the shop. One appeared to watch the entrance while the other searched and tried to avoid the camera. The thief searched for the shop’s key, usually kept in the noodle cabinet, but luckily on that day the staff had stored it inside the shop, so little was lost—only two knives.
Later, Police Colonel Theeraphat ordered the investigative team to review CCTV footage across the area from 3 July until now. They found that the suspects fled on a stolen motorcycle into Bangkok near Rama 7, but the footage did not reveal their identities.
The Nakhon Nayok investigative chief said anyone who can provide information leading to the suspects’ capture will receive the 10,000 baht reward. Tips can be reported by calling 081-596-3-999 to reach the Nakhon Nayok investigation team.
