On 20 July 2026, reporters reported that at 22:30 on the previous night (19 July 2026), police from Bang Pla Ma Station, together with rescue personnel from Samekan Suphanburi Rescue Unit in Bang Pla Ma District, received a report of a pickup truck crashing into a tree with an injured person trapped inside. They promptly proceeded to the scene along with other relevant officials.
At the scene near Chok Numchai Company, Taka Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Suphanburi Province, on Road 340 (Suphanburi–Bang Bua Thong route) heading toward Bangkok, rescuers found a black pickup truck with license plate number 8666 from Bangkok overturned and spun into a roadside tree, heavily damaged throughout. Rescue workers from Samekan Suphanburi urgently used hydraulic cutting tools to assist in extracting the injured trapped inside the pickup truck.
Preliminary identification of the injured person is Mr. Tonthong Sukkhaen, also known as "Tone Bangkae," 43 years old, a famous amulet expert. There was one passenger also trapped inside the vehicle.
