Police Commander of Division 3, along with the Acting Chief of Nimit Mai Police Station and a group of charitable donors, built and delivered a new home to a bedridden patient who was injured in a car accident.
At 11:00 a.m. on 21 July 2026, Police Major General Prasong Anmanee, Commander of Division 3, the subcommittee of the Police Advisory Committee of Division 3, the Metropolitan Police wives, and Police Colonel Chaithat Chiangtha, Acting Chief of Nimit Mai Police Station and head of the investigation group, jointly held the "Home Delivery Project for Bedridden Patients of Nimit Mai Police Station." They presented a residence to Mr. Kamphan Kamphrom, 51, a bedridden patient injured in a car accident, cared for solely by his wife. The location is beside Nawamintrachinutit School, Satriwitthaya 2, Soi Nimit Mai 64, Sam Wa East subdistrict, Khlong Sam Wa district, Bangkok.
Police Major General Prasong Anmanee, Commander of Division 3, said that following a visit in mid-May with the Police Advisory Committee of Division 3, Acting Chief Chaithat Chiangtha, the Nimit Mai Police Advisory Committee, and Metropolitan Police wives to deliver supplies to bedridden patients in Nimit Mai Police Station's jurisdiction, they learned from Mr. Kamphan that his rental contract had expired and the landlord required him to move out by 30 May 2026. He instructed Acting Chief Chaithat Chiangtha and the Nimit Mai Police patrol unit to coordinate with a new landlord about a location about 500 meters from the previous rental site, with a monthly rent of 3,000 baht and a three-year contract renewable every three years.
Subsequently, Acting Chief Chaithat Chiangtha led Nimit Mai Police officers together with Khlong Sam Wa district officials in a volunteer activity to dismantle and move the old house materials to build a temporary shelter at the new house construction site.
The Commander of Division 3 added that Acting Chief Chaithat Chiangtha coordinated with various agencies and foundations to support building a residence for Mr. Kamphan. He noted that the temporary shelter was a tent, which was very hot and posed a risk during storms. Together with the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority Minburi branch and the Police Advisory Committee of Division 3, they surveyed the area and planned construction. Waterworks Authority technicians installed concrete piles and beams, built the house frame and roof of a single-story structure, installed walls, ceilings, and a bathroom, as well as electrical and water systems, and painted the house. The house was completed and inspected by Acting Chief Chaithat Chiangtha earlier this month and officially handed over to Mr. Kamphan today.
Mr. Kamphan said with a bright smile that he was very happy to have a strong new house and no longer feared rain or storms. He expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who showed kindness to him and his family.
