Two Russian siblings have been missing since 26 July. Recently, an ominous sign emerged when their disassembled motorcycle was found buried underground in an old cemetery.
At 12:00 on 29 July 2026, police from Huay Yai Station, the Chonburi Provincial Investigation Unit, and the Tourist Police Investigation Unit quickly deployed to the old Thung Luang cemetery near Chak Taeng intersection, about 200 meters from the Najomtien–Map Ta Phut motorway road, in Village 9, Huay Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, after locals reported a group burying a motorcycle there.
Upon arrival, a large crowd of onlookers had gathered. Locals said the area was an old cemetery. At the entrance, people had tried to block the path with cut branches. Villagers also pointed out freshly dug soil where something was buried. When authorities excavated the site, they found a black-gray Honda ADV 150 motorcycle, license plate 4 กษ 6379 Chonburi, disassembled and buried underground. This motorcycle belonged to the two Russian siblings who have been missing since 26 July.
After discovering the motorcycle, officers intensified searches in the surrounding area to locate the missing persons and collect more evidence. The site is near the home of "Mr. Pong," a suspect appearing in previously released video footage, as well as related cryptic messages the siblings sent their mother on the day they disappeared, saying they felt stalked. Additionally, police requested rescue teams to deploy divers to inspect nearby ponds for further leads.
Mr. Jakkrit Boonmak, 56, assistant village headman, said that after reviewing information with the village chief and analyzing CCTV footage, they identified the area as suspicious and conducted an inspection. Around 10:00, he received information from an acquaintance that a group of men had been digging there since about 22:00 the previous night. He promptly went to check and found four suspicious men in the area.
Initially suspecting a burial, he quickly notified the village chief and withdrew from the area, fearing the men might be armed. Police were contacted to investigate. When officers returned with reinforcements, the four men had fled, leaving only the burial site. Upon excavation, the buried item was confirmed as the missing siblings' motorcycle. The two individuals remain missing, and authorities continue a thorough search of the surrounding area.
