Arrest warrants issued for “Pong” and “Thong” in connection with the disappearance of two Russian siblings; police detain two suspects who allegedly helped bury the victims' motorcycle for questioning.
The case involves a black-gray Honda ADV 150 motorcycle, license plate 4กษ 6379 Chonburi, belonging to MISS DIANA NAZIMOVA, 22, and MR ROMAN NAZIMOVA, 17, two Russian siblings who disappeared early on 26 July 2026. Later, their motorcycle was found dismantled and buried in an old cemetery area near Chak Tang Intersection (about 200 meters from the Najomtien-Motorway Mabtaput road, Village No. 9, Huay Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi). Hundreds of officers and locals searched extensively with sniffer dogs but found no trace, as previously reported.
At 13:00 on 30 July 2026, Pol. Lt. Col. Prabda Suksuntree, Chief of Pattaya Police Station, Pol. Lt. Col. Thongthai Phairo, Investigation Division Officer of Immigration Police Region 3, along with other police from Pattaya Tourist Police and Chonburi Immigration Police, led a raid on the homes of Mr. Hoi and Mr. Pang. They are suspects who helped Mr. Pong and Mr. Thong evade a police blockade of over 200 officers by escaping under cover of a tarp on a three-wheeled vehicle. They are also suspected of collaborating with Pong and Thong to bury the dismantled motorcycle, as neighbors reported and shared detailed information with investigators.
Police located the residences of Mr. Hoi and Mr. Pang in Village 11, Huay Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. Officers raided a makeshift shelter in the forest but did not find them initially. Later, Mr. Hoi was spotted leaving on a motorcycle with a sidecar and was detained for questioning. Police also brought in Mr. Pang, who lived nearby, for interrogation. Both initially denied involvement or knowing Mr. Pong and Mr. Thong.
However, police remain skeptical of Mr. Hoi and Mr. Pang’s statements and are continuing to question them at Huay Yai Police Station to investigate any connections to the disappearance of the Russian siblings.
Meanwhile, the investigation unit at Huay Yai Police Station recently obtained approval from the Pattaya Provincial Court to issue arrest warrants for Mr. Thana, known as “Pong,” 43, and Mr. Thongchai, known as “Thong,” 39. They are charged with nighttime theft using a vehicle or receiving stolen goods, based on evidence confirming their involvement in burying the Russian siblings' motorcycle, prompting the warrants.
