At 09:00 on 1 August 2026, Police Lieutenant General Atchayon Kraithong, Commander of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, spoke about the detention process of Ms. Jutatip Thongnoi, 28, who was arrested by Japanese authorities after methamphetamine was found hidden in coffee sachets. Ms. Jutatip is expected to arrive in Thailand via Suvarnabhumi Airport at approximately 14:00.
After completing immigration procedures, police will detain her and bring her to the Narcotics Suppression Bureau for further questioning about all details, from initial contact with the person who delivered the items to her arrest in Japan, to clarify the circumstances and her level of involvement.
