At 09:00 on 3 Aug 2026 at Najomtien Police Station, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, Pol. Col. Phasakorn Paijit, Chief Investigator of Chonburi Provincial Police, arrived to interrogate Mr. Chatchanan, or Fluke, 24, one of the suspects in the shocking triple burial murder of a family. Earlier, police had obtained permission from Pattaya Provincial Court to bring him for additional questioning amid various suspicions about the case, including rumors that Mr. Pong, a key suspect, might have committed similar crimes with other victims.
Pol. Col. Phasakorn Paijit led the interrogation team questioning Fluke throughout the morning. Fluke maintained that he was involved only in the triple family murder case and denied any involvement in other cases. He also stated that he was the brother-in-law of Mr. Ball and claimed he was deceived into participating in this crime. During questioning, Fluke showed signs of stress and cried continuously.
Reports indicate Fluke was brought for questioning because his testimony might affect the case's direction. He was the only suspect able to drive a manual transmission vehicle and was the driver of the pickup truck belonging to the victim family. He transported the parents and child into the coconut plantation where the murders occurred, killing them one by one before burying their bodies.
Regarding rumors that Mr. Pong may have committed another similar shocking crime in Ban Chang District, Rayong Province, in early July, police found no signs or links during Fluke's interrogation that would connect him to this suspicion. Today, police planned to send Fluke back to Pattaya Provincial Court before transferring him to Pattaya Special Prison.
Meanwhile, Pol. Col. Warawut Nitayawan, Superintendent of Huay Yai Police Station, expressed gratitude to the rescue committee and rescue chiefs of the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya for their joint efforts in searching for the victims over the past four days and recovering the bodies of all five victims. The Sawang Boriboon Foundation in Pattaya will be responsible for transporting the five victims' bodies from the Police Hospital Forensic Institute to conduct religious ceremonies, expected to take place in Chonburi tomorrow.
