The National Police Office affirms it will urgently conduct a thorough investigation.
On 4 August 2026, Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwpan, Spokesperson of the National Police Office, stated that following claims that Mr. Pong has a superior who is a police officer, and upon receiving orders from the National Police Chief to investigate this person, he coordinated with the Chonburi Provincial Police Chief to clarify the matter.
The Chonburi Provincial Police Chief proposed bringing an LGBTQ victim of Mr. Pong to identify police officers, both currently serving and retired, to clarify exactly who the individuals in question are.
He confirmed that the National Police Office will thoroughly investigate the matter and has instructed the Chonburi Provincial Police Chief to promptly report any developments to the public to ensure transparency.
