
Pol. Col. 4 of the Economic Crime Division announced the arrest of 'Tone Bangkae,' a suspect in a public fraud case, and affirmed readiness to ensure justice.
At 10:00 a.m. today, 6 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Maj. Gen. Tatsapoom Jaruprat, commander of the Economic Crime Division, ordered Pol. Col. Jamnan Chanthat, Pol. Col. 4 of the division, to lead officers to search a residence in Village 7, Bang Khu Wiang Subdistrict, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province. The target was Mr. Tonthong Sukkhaen, aka Tone Bangkae, a well-known amulet expert, wanted under a Criminal Court warrant on charges of "public fraud". The case followed complaints from victims who reported being deceived into purchasing Zeiss Blue Marine amulet viewing scopes at inflated prices advertised by Tone.
During searches of two locations, Tone Bangkae was not found. It was initially learned that he left the house at 11:00 p.m. on the night of 5 Aug. Authorities are currently pursuing his arrest to proceed with legal action, as previously reported.

Col. 4 of the Economic Crime Division, revealed that police have now arrested Tone Bangkae after discussions with his wife led to his voluntary surrender. Authorities are committed to ensuring justice. Subsequently, Tone arrived at a house in Bang Khun Kong Subdistrict, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, to surrender to officials and face the charges.
