On 6 August 2026 in Pathum Thani Province, reporters reported that while the family and relatives awaited the autopsy results and prepared to receive Halun Solo's body for funeral rites at their hometown, Mr. Somsak Butsri, known as "Mos," Halun’s brother, told reporters he still has concerns about chemicals in the body and heart issues. The foreign autopsy results lack clear detailed findings, so he intends to request another autopsy in Thailand to compare results. He understands that Georgia only collected some body parts as evidence and that the cause of death, possibly sudden cardiac death, remains uncertain pending further investigation.
The family remains concerned because Georgia only collected some organ samples and the deceased's DNA. The autopsy was not as thorough as would be expected in Thailand, with no detailed results or information about which body parts were examined. No official documents or detailed reports were provided—only a death certificate stating the death.
Currently, the family’s main concern is toxins in the body, so they have requested a detailed autopsy at Thailand’s Institute of Forensic Science to determine the true cause of death.
Mr. Somsak Butsri, or "Mos," added that if the autopsy finds evidence of assault or harm, they will use the results alongside Georgia’s findings to ask Georgian authorities to consider legal action. However, someone will need to take responsibility for pursuing this, as he does not know how to proceed.
Regarding any illness the deceased may have had, the family does not know the details. If the death was due to foul play, they will seek justice and urge Georgian authorities to investigate the case. So far, Georgia has reported no signs of trauma or assault.
He and his family thank all Thai people nationwide who helped bring his brother home. Regarding the religious ceremonies, they still need to discuss how many days to hold them. The body is expected to arrive back in Thailand on 7 August 2026. His grandmother has asked that they keep calling him home all the way. Although the family’s morale is still good, they are uncertain how his grandmother will react seeing the body in Kalasin Province. Relatives outside the province are helping care for the family.
