On 7 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that a Grade 9 student opened fire at Tepsirin School, Nonthaburi, killing 6 people at the scene and 2 more — his grandfather and grandmother — at his home, totaling 8 deaths.

Later, at 11:30 a.m. GMT+7 at Phra Nang Klao Hospital, Muang Nonthaburi District, emergency teams from Bangyai Hospital and Bang Maenang Municipality gradually brought three critically injured patients from Tepsirin School to the emergency department. These included a 12-year-old girl in a coma,
and two boys aged 14 and 13 who were shot in the torso; both are in critical condition with doctors providing urgent care. Additionally, another female student suffered shock due to the violent event at the school and was brought in for treatment by her guardians.
