Update on the shooting at Tepsirin School, Nonthaburi: Three students are in critical condition, with doctors closely monitoring their status.

On 7 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that a Grade 9 student opened fire at Tepsirin School, Nonthaburi, killing 6 people at the scene and 2 more — his grandfather and grandmother — at his home, totaling 8 deaths.

The six deceased at the school are as follows:

• Mr. Kittipong Somrat, Deputy Director for Discipline.
• Ms. Saifon Sirikitchakachorn, Secretary to the classroom.
• Ms. Tiwaporn Wanich, Guidance Counselor.
• Second Lieutenant Nanchanadporn Nakplang, Thai Language Teacher.
• Ms. Praphaporn Konsila, Mathematics Teacher.
• The 14-year-old male student who was the perpetrator.

Later, at 11:30 a.m. GMT+7 at Phra Nang Klao Hospital, Muang Nonthaburi District, emergency teams from Bangyai Hospital and Bang Maenang Municipality gradually brought three critically injured patients from Tepsirin School to the emergency department. These included a 12-year-old girl in a coma,

and two boys aged 14 and 13 who were shot in the torso; both are in critical condition with doctors providing urgent care. Additionally, another female student suffered shock due to the violent event at the school and was brought in for treatment by her guardians.
