Three Critical Cases Among Victims of Mass Shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School

On 7 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reporters confirmed that a grade 9 student opened fire on teachers and students inside Debsirin Nonthaburi School, resulting in six deaths on site and two more—his grandfather and grandmother—found dead at the perpetrator's home, totaling eight fatalities.

The six victims at the school are as follows:

• Mr. Kittipong Somrat, Deputy Director of Student Discipline.
• Ms. Saifon Sirikitjakorn, Secretary to the Head of Department.
• Ms. Tiwaporn Wanich, Guidance Counselor.
• Second Lieutenant Nanthanatporn Nakplang, Thai Language Teacher.
• Ms. Praphaporn Konsila, Mathematics Teacher.
• The 14-year-old male student perpetrator.

Later, at 11:30 a.m. at Phra Nang Klao Hospital in Mueang Nonthaburi District, emergency teams from Bang Yai Hospital and Bang Maenang Municipality gradually transferred three red-coded injured patients from Debsirin Nonthaburi School to the emergency department, including a 12-year-old girl in a coma.

Also admitted were two boys, aged 14 and 13, who suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and are in critical condition; medical staff are providing urgent care. Additionally, a female student experienced shock from the violent incident at the school and was brought to the hospital by her guardians.
