Debsirin Nonthaburi School has announced a special closure for all grade levels from 10 to 14 August 2026 following a shooting incident within the school.
On 7 August 2026, it was reported that Debsirin Nonthaburi School announced a special closure, stating that an emergency situation occurred within the school on that date.
Under the authority of Section 39 of the Ministry of Education Administration Act B.E. 2547 (2004) and Clause 8 (1) of the Ministry of Education regulations on the academic year and school opening and closing B.E. 2549 (2006), as amended (2nd edition) B.E. 2558 (2015), Debsirin Nonthaburi School announces a special closure from 10 to 14 August 2026, with the following details.
1. Students of all grade levels are to be suspended from attending school on 10-11 and 13-14 August 2026.
2. During the closure, students are to review lessons and complete assignments given by their subject teachers. Parents are requested to supervise and support their children's learning effectively and ensure their safety while at home.
3. Teachers and educational staff will work from home, recording their attendance in the My Office system by 08:30 a.m., and must monitor official communications via the school's LINE group and My Office system. They are to use technology for coordination to avoid disruption to official duties. If the school orders staff to report to work on-site, they must comply at any time.
4. All students are to return to school for regular classes on Monday, 17 August 2026.
