
The husband of the executive office secretary at Thepsirin School, a victim of the shooting, held his wife's body and clasped her hand tightly, still unable to accept the loss. Relatives revealed her dream to retire by building a home in Lampang.
On 8 August 2026, at Wat Suwan in Bangkok, after the family and relatives brought the body of the victim from the shooting incident at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi to conduct religious rites. Among them was Ms. Saifon Sirikitkajorn, an administrative officer and executive office secretary. The family held the funeral ceremony at Wat Suwan, Khlong San district, Bangkok, and held the rites in the Sala Tem Paisan Kun.
Before the water-pouring ceremony began, the husband of Ms. Saifon was seen sitting, embracing his wife's body with deep sorrow, holding her hand continuously from the time her body was brought from the Police Hospital Forensic Institute until reaching the temple's pavilion.
Meanwhile, the victim's elder sister, upon seeing her sister's body, embraced her and burst into tears. Both the husband, family, and relatives remain emotionally unprepared to give interviews as they have not yet come to terms with the incident.
Ms. Saifon had been married to her husband for 19 years and lived in the Bang Bon area but commuted to work in Nonthaburi. Since the family is based in Khlong San district, they arranged the funeral at Wat Suwan in Khlong San.
Relatives of Ms. Saifon shared that she had three siblings and dreamed of spending her retirement in Lampang, where her sister had previously divided some land and where their mother was born. The water-pouring funeral rite was scheduled for 16:00 hrs.
