Victims gathered to appeal to the 'Sai Mai Must Survive' page, alleging that a famous male influencer with over 10 million followers physically assaulted and verbally abused them. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old woman claims she was molested while asleep, with the influencer requesting hugs, asserting these were familial embraces.
At 10:00 a.m. on 10 Aug 2026 at the coordination center of the 'Sai Mai Must Survive' page on Wat Ko Road, Sai Mai District, Bangkok, Ms. Aree, 29, and Mr. Nantawat, 24, along with two other victims, came to seek help from Mr. Ekaphop Luangprasert, founder of the page, to seek justice. They alleged that a famous influencer with over 10 million followers, their former employer, physically assaulted and molested them. The incidents occurred at the employer's studio in Khon Kaen Province, and there may be other victims.
Ms. Aree said that in 2023, she met the famous influencer, a streamer, who invited her to work. During their time working together, he frequently displayed violent moods; even minor provocations would make him angry and unable to control himself. He repeatedly blamed her for any mistakes, often verbally abusing her, throwing objects, grabbing her head, and spitting on her food. On the day she was assaulted, despite many team members being present, no one intervened or helped, allowing the employer to continue his actions in front of everyone.
On one occasion, when she could not film due to an eye injury, the influencer became angry and said he would fetch a kitchen knife to stab her. Those who tried to help her were dismissed. After regaining composure, he apologized and hugged and kissed her cheek as if nothing happened, saying they were like family.
After she resigned, the influencer posted defamatory content about her on Facebook. She then filed a complaint with the Nam Phong Police Station in Khon Kaen Province on 19 July.
Ms. Aree also stated that she was not the only victim; others, mostly women, suffered similar treatment. Many may have endured these incidents until they became normalized. She decided to speak out to reveal the truth behind the camera and expressed concern for others. She believes that if she remained silent, the issue would be ignored. The influencer also runs channels related to children, so she urges young viewers to consider his true character and question whether his real behavior matches the image seen on camera.
Mr. Nantawat, 24, a former photographer, revealed that on 18 June, while filming content at the studio under instructions about camera angles, he was harshly criticized and challenged to fight. He tried to apologize and avoid confrontation, but the influencer continued to assault him, punching his face, choking him multiple times, hitting his head with a boxing glove, and spitting on him. He did not retaliate, and some people intervened occasionally. Afterward, he went to the hospital for medical certification before filing a complaint at the Muang Khon Kaen Police Station the next day, providing photographic evidence of his injuries.
Before parting, the influencer threatened that if they met again, he would assault him again and told him to resign. Mr. Nantawat was dismissed on the same day as the incident after working at the company for about four months.
Another victim, Mr. Vespa, 24, a former employee, said that during about two years of work since 2024, he was asked to use his personal bank account to receive sponsorship money. He was unaware of the details or sources of all the funds and was ordered to transfer or spend money as directed by superiors. Initially, he refused, but after others came to negotiate and seeing the violent behavior, he feared repercussions and agreed to let his account be used. The account was used in this way for about a year, with transaction amounts exceeding one million baht. The accounting team sometimes notified him in advance about incoming transfers, while instructions for transfers or payments came via Line messages specifying amounts.
On one occasion, he transferred about 1.4 million baht as instructed, which caused him great concern due to a lack of full details about the transactions. He feared potential consequences and that he might be labeled a money mule. He resigned from the company in December last year and wants the account usage investigated and corrected transparently. He plans to file a formal complaint.
Ms. Aoy, 19, said she met the influencer online after seeing a recruitment announcement in 2025 to become a content creator, her dream job. Initially, she was assigned housekeeping duties. Less than a week after starting, she went on location with the influencer alone. Upon returning to the studio, he asked to hug her. She was startled because they were not familiar. He explained it was a “family hug.”
Afterward, he often talked with her about daily life in her bedroom and sometimes called her to the area under the stairs to talk and ask for hugs. She understood it as familial affection. The worst incident occurred in her bedroom; she shared the room with another employee, but on that night, the other employee slept earlier and turned off the lights. The door could not be locked. While she was sleeping, she heard the door open, and someone kissed her cheeks, kissed her neck, and tried to pull the blanket to touch her thigh. She tried to hold the blanket to signal she was awake, but he continued until the other employee came in and exclaimed, causing him to jump out and leave. This made her scared and confused. She questioned whether anyone would believe her if she spoke out, as he acted as if nothing happened. Since then, she tried to avoid being alone with him.
Mr. Ekaphop Luangprasert stated that the behavior potentially constitutes sexual harassment and should be thoroughly investigated by authorities. If found to be criminal, legal action must follow. Regarding the use of another person's bank account to receive and control funds, the source and transactions should be examined to determine if other offenses occurred.
Regarding filing complaints, informants emphasized the importance of considering victims' willingness and safety. If local prosecution is uncertain, coordination with central authorities for assistance is possible. They also expressed concern that such content is distributed through channels with many child followers, warning that risky behavior or sexual harassment may mislead children into accepting such conduct as normal. They urged content creators with child audiences to exercise caution in communication and behavior to avoid misunderstanding or harm to children.
