The chief of Khon Kaen City Police Station confirms clear evidence and has issued warrants for "Aunt Dara" and her associates to acknowledge trespassing charges in connection with a group blocking the entrance to Wat Pa Adulyaram, noting that their actions disturbed the temple's possession rights.
At 18:30 on 13 Aug 2026, reporters received information from Police Colonel Yosawat Kaewsuebthannit, chief of Khon Kaen City Police Station, regarding the issuance of a summons for Aunt Dara, also known as Ms. Chommanee or Da Noichan, 62 years old. Investigators have reviewed evidence from a video recorded by a citizen showing a group blocking the entrance to Wat Pa Adulyaram, located within Khon Kaen Municipality, during daytime on 10 Aug 2026.
Based on this evidence and witness interviews, those present during the incident confirmed that Aunt Dara was among the participants. The citizen-recorded video also clearly shows her. Hence, a summons was issued for Aunt Dara to acknowledge trespassing charges. Although she did not enter the temple grounds, her conduct clearly disturbed the temple's possession rights.
Additionally, police have identified approximately 5-6 other individuals involved, as well as the source of the cement truck and the people who placed pipes at the site. Warrants will be issued to summon them for investigation and to acknowledge charges as well.
