The Chief of Khon Kaen City Police Station confirms clear evidence and has issued a summons for 'Aunt Da' and her associates to acknowledge trespassing charges related to a group blocking the entrance to Wat Pa Adulyaram, noting that their actions interfere with the temple's rightful possession of the land.
At 18:30 on 13 August 2026, reporters were informed by Police Colonel Yosawat Kaewsueptananit, Chief of Khon Kaen City Police Station, regarding the summons issued to Aunt Da, or Ms. Chommanee (Da) Noichan, 62 years old. Investigators have reviewed evidence from video clips taken by civilians showing a group blocking the entrance to Wat Pa Adulyaram, located in Khon Kaen Municipality, during the daytime on 10 August 2026.
Based on this evidence and witness testimonies, all confirm that Aunt Da was among those involved in the incident, as shown in the civilian-recorded video. Consequently, a summons has been issued for Aunt Da to acknowledge trespassing charges. Although she did not enter the temple grounds, her behavior clearly disturbed the temple's possession rights.
Additionally, police have identified the names and addresses of approximately 5-6 individuals involved in the incident, as well as the source of the cement truck and the people who placed pipes there. Summons will be issued to them for questioning and to acknowledge charges as well.
