Police arrested "Nai Kong," an associate of Pa Da, at a restaurant on charges of jointly trespassing on riverside land along the Chao Phraya in the Phra Khanong area. He said he was not worried and believed he was being framed by authorities due to harassment.
On 19 Aug 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after meeting with police at Phra Khanong Police Station, Pa Da and her followers went to eat at a restaurant. As they got out of the van, several plainclothes officers approached and read an arrest warrant to "Nai Kong," a close associate of Pa Da, charging him with joint trespassing in a land-related case in the Phra Khanong area. Pa Da tried to ask the officers what the arrest was for, but the police told her they would discuss it at the station before promptly taking him to the interrogation room at Phra Khanong Police Station.
Later, Pa Da arrived at Phra Khanong Police Station and revealed that as she was about to have a meal with her followers, police arrested her associate. She said she did not know the charges but insisted that if it was trespassing, the specific area should be clearly stated, confirming it was an old issue.
During this time, Nai Kong called Pa Da, saying he was being held in the interrogation room. Pa Da asked about the case, and Nai Kong read the warrant aloud, stating it was a joint trespassing charge before hanging up. Pa Da then waited near the interrogation room.
Subsequently, the investigative team brought Nai Kong out. Nai Kong said the case for which he was arrested happened under Phra Khanong Police Station’s jurisdiction and was unrelated to any case in Khon Kaen province. He was charged with joint trespassing on land in the Phra Khanong area. He said he was not worried, as this would clarify the truth and verify the allegations, especially regarding Pa Da’s charges. Nai Kong confirmed the police read the warrant to him before taking him to the station and insisted he was being harassed by officials.
When asked if he had questioned police about why he was not detained immediately upon arriving at Phra Khanong Police Station despite the warrant, Nai Kong said he was puzzled by that as well. He also said he had not yet spoken with Pa Da. Afterwards, police took Nai Kong into a vehicle to bring him to the Phra Khanong Criminal Court for legal proceedings.
