The chief of Ban Na Police Station has opened the "Ban Na Barber" haircut room, offering free haircuts to police officers, volunteer police, and the public, hoping to help reduce living costs.
At 10:30 a.m. on 20 Aug 2026 GMT+7, at Ban Na Police Station, Ban Na Subdistrict, Ban Na District, Nakhon Nayok Province, Pol. Col. Mongkol Topeo, chief of Ban Na Police Station, with support from Pol. Maj. Gen. Angkura Klaiklueang, a Senate member, and Deputy Governor Santit Thamjai of Nakhon Nayok, jointly opened the "Ban Na Barber" haircut room. This facility provides free haircuts to police officers, volunteer police, and local residents at Ban Na Police Station. The project was supported by Pol. Maj. Gen. Angkura, who donated a standard haircutting table set, equipment, and air conditioning.
During the trial of the new haircut room, a police officer volunteered as a haircut model. Deputy Governor of Nakhon Nayok and Pol. Maj. Gen. Angkura Klaiklueang took turns using the clippers to cut the officer's hair, reassuring everyone by saying, "Don’t worry, I also graduated, just in a different field." The officer sat still, tense but smiling, as both senior officials personally cut his hair.
Pol. Col. Mongkol Topeo, chief of Ban Na Police Station, spoke about the project, expressing his happiness to have a haircut room at Ban Na Police Station, supported by Pol. Maj. Gen. Angkura who donated the equipment. The purpose is to reduce living expenses for police officers stationed at Ban Na and local residents who cannot afford haircuts. The free service at Ban Na Police Station helps reduce costs, as haircuts nowadays can cost up to 100 baht, so this initiative helps alleviate that expense.
