Known as “Commander Fight,” Pol. Maj. Gen. Songpol Boribunprasert, Chief of Kalasin Provincial Police, arranged welfare breakfast serving pork rice soup to help reduce living costs for police personnel and the public, boosting morale for police officers in their duties.
On 25 August 2026 at 08:00, in front of the Kalasin Provincial Police building, Pol. Maj. Gen. Songpol Boribunprasert hosted a welfare breakfast for police personnel from the Kalasin Provincial Police administrative division, investigation units, Mueang Kalasin Police Station, cooperative staff, and the general public, totaling 200 people.
The breakfast menu was “seasoned minced pork rice soup” generously filled with minced pork and Vietnamese pork sausage, accompanied by Farmhouse brand bread from the Kalasin Provincial Police cooperative. Pol. Maj. Gen. Songpol Boribunprasert and Pol. Col. Chalit Srihanu, Superintendent of Mueang Kalasin Police Station, personally served the food to personnel and attendees, who all expressed gratitude for the kindness and this valuable program.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Songpol Boribunprasert stated that the welfare breakfast for police officers and the public will be held every Tuesday morning. This meal service supplements the existing lunch program of Kalasin Provincial Police, investigation units, Mueang Kalasin Police Station, and the Kalasin Police cooperative to help ease daily food expenses for personnel and their families.
It also aims to boost morale and demonstrate close care and concern by commanders for the well-being of their subordinates.
Additionally, it fosters unity and good relationships within the department through shared meals following the flag-raising ceremony or monthly meetings, contributing to quality of life improvements according to the National Police Office’s welfare enhancement policy.
