A tense operation saw the Special Administrative Operations Unit raid and arrest 'Ball Hua To,' a drug dealer agent at a resort in downtown Nakhon Si Thammarat, followed by the capture of two additional suspects.
On 27 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Mesun Sophaphan, the District Chief of Muang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, received reports of drug dealers secretly selling drugs to youths, operating openly at a resort in downtown Nakhon Si Thammarat without fear of the law.
He ordered Mr. Supachok Brahmpoon, Commander of Provincial Volunteer Defense Corps Company 1, and Mr. Athirat Rodduang, the District Security Officer, to lead a special operations unit to conduct a sting and arrange a drug handover at resort room 107, then raid and arrest the drug dealer.
The suspect was identified as Mr. Nattakorn, or Ball Hua To, age 45, who was found with 5.0 grams of crystal meth. Upon interrogation, he confessed, leading to the arrest of Mr. Phasit, or On Ban Don, age 33, at his rented house in Soi Pratu Khao 2, Khlang Subdistrict, Muang District, with 4.36 grams of crystal meth seized.
Additionally, the same unit extended the operation to arrest Mr. Satthawat, or News Soi 5, age 27, wanted under a Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Court warrant for a drug case, with eight yaba pills found in a hotel on Ratchadamnoen Road, Khlang Subdistrict, Muang District. All three suspects were detained with the seized drugs and handed over to the Muang Police Station for legal proceedings.
