On 28 Aug 2026, reporters received information that in Saraburi Province, rescue workers were alerted to find a woman who had been assaulted and died inside a rental room in Nong Pling Subdistrict, Nong Khae District. The suspect is believed to be the victim's husband.
The suspect then fled by driving a pickup truck to Tha Ruea District in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province to say goodbye to his child.
Later, it was reported that the suspect drove the pickup truck and collided head-on with an 18-wheel trailer truck on the road behind Bueng Temple in the Wang Daeng area, Tha Ruea District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The vehicle lost control, veered off the road, and hit a tree. The suspect died trapped inside the wreckage, and rescue workers had to use cutting tools to remove the body.
