On 28 Aug 2026 GMT+7, at the 20th floor Operations Center of the Royal Thai Police Headquarters, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul chaired the Police Commission meeting to consider appointments for 156 vacant senior police positions, including three deputy national police chief posts, six assistant national police chief posts, 19 division commander posts, 41 deputy division commander posts, 94 provincial police commander posts, and three deputy national police chief posts.
