Upon arrival at the dormitory, they met Ms. A (a pseudonym), the room owner wearing a gray shirt, who reported a gecko had entered her room and requested police help to catch it. After acknowledging her request, the police accompanied the room owner and the dormitory manager to search for the gecko. They checked crevices and hiding spots, spending nearly half an hour searching but found nothing. The patrol officers advised that since it was very late, continued searching might disturb neighboring rooms and suggested that if the gecko appears again, she should notify the dormitory manager to handle it.
