
The Phitsanulok Provincial Court denied bail to Pol. Lt. Col. Anon Yimpradit, an investigative officer from Region 6, accused in a hit-and-run fatality case, and he was taken into custody at Phitsanulok Prison.
At 17:30 on 7 September 2026 in Phitsanulok Province, reporters followed up on the case of Pol. Lt. Col. Anon Yimpradit, an intelligence officer with the Region 6 Investigation Division, accused of driving a Toyota Fortuner that struck a motorcycle ridden by 16-year-old Peeranut Rathway, known as “Nong Khaopan,” causing his death. The suspect fled the scene, and CCTV footage showed him driving away and hiding the vehicle, as previously reported.
Recently, the Phitsanulok Provincial Court rejected the bail request and appeal of Pol. Lt. Col. Anon Yimpradit, intelligence officer at Region 6 Investigation Division. Earlier, investigators from Mueang Phitsanulok Police Station and the family of 16-year-old Peeranut Rathway, aka “Nong Khaopan,” had successfully opposed bail in court. Consequently, Pol. Lt. Col. Anon Yimpradit has been detained at Phitsanulok Prison to face the charges.
