Six charges have been filed against a soldier riding a big bike who crashed into the motorcycle of “Ai Bank Saw,” a police influencer. He admitted fleeing because he did not have a driver's license and has agreed to pay for the damages. Alcohol and drug tests were conducted and found no abnormalities in his system.

Sanong Sangmanee, superintendent of Bang Sue Police Station, revealed after questioning the soldier with the rank of corporal who crashed his big bike into Police Senior Sergeant Major Phanomrung Jiamtu, head of traffic operations at Bang Sue Police Station and known as Ai Bank Saw, before fleeing the scene.
Investigations found that the soldier left his home near Rama 5 Road to visit relatives at Thammasat University Hospital, Rangsit. Passing the Or Tor Kor intersection, traffic police from Bang Sue noticed the big bike’s license plate was obscured and signaled him to stop for inspection. The rider refused and fled, resulting in a collision with the traffic police officer’s motorcycle.
Today, the biker appeared before investigators at Bang Sue Police Station. Initially, police charged him with six offenses: disobeying an official’s order; reckless driving causing injury and property damage; fleeing without stopping to assist; riding a motorcycle without displaying a license plate; driving without a license; and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Many big bikes have license plates mounted inside or recessed, making them hard to see; although this bike had a plate, the traffic police could not clearly see it, prompting the stop.
The suspect explained he fled because he lacked a driving license and was afraid when signaled to stop. He escaped toward Tao Poon Police Station but was intercepted by police there. He was fined under the Land Traffic Act. Officers from both stations coordinated and confirmed it was the same person and motorcycle.
Police Senior Sergeant Major Phanomrung stated he has no further complaints except for damage compensation to his personal motorcycle. He left the legal proceedings to the investigators. Alcohol and drug tests were conducted and found no abnormalities.
The suspect has confessed to all charges and agreed to proceed with legal actions. He is willing to compensate the police officer for motorcycle repair costs.
