Pol. Maj. Gen. Atthaporn Wongsiripreeda, Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, initially revealed that one company of the Crowd Control Division is prepared to manage Sonthi Limthongkul's planned protest at the Israeli Embassy.
On 8 Sep 2026 at the Metropolitan Police Bureau headquarters, Pol. Maj. Gen. Atthaporn Wongsiripreeda, Deputy Commissioner, disclosed that Sonthi Limthongkul is scheduled to deliver a letter and statement outside the Israeli Embassy on 10 Sep at 09:30. Lumphini Police Station has coordinated with Israeli Embassy officials to plan security and maintain order. Traffic police will facilitate convenience, investigative units will monitor suspicious persons, and screening points will inspect those entering the area.
For the crowd attending, a designated area near the embassy has been arranged. Initially, the Metropolitan Police Bureau has deployed one company of the Crowd Control Division, including female officers, working alongside Lumphini Police to maintain security and public order.
