On 9 Sep 2026, under the supervision of Police Major General Damrongsak Swang-ngam, Commander of the Traffic Police Division, and other senior officers including Police Colonel Natthapong Chueadech, Deputy Commander of the Traffic Police Division, Police Colonel Seksan Chumjam, Chief of Division 2, and others from the Vibhavadi Rangsit Traffic Control Center/Expressway, investigations proceeded.
Reviewing evidence and CCTV footage showed the driver left Central Ladprao, entered inbound Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, made a U-turn, then drove against traffic from the parallel lane to the main lane for about 1 kilometer amid heavy traffic. Other drivers had to swerve to avoid collisions before the driver made another U-turn and resumed normal traffic direction.
Following the clip's circulation, police examined the evidence and tracked down the driver to enforce legal action.
On 8 Sep 2026, the driver met investigators, was informed of the charges, and confessed to all allegations, including violating traffic signs, driving against traffic, and reckless or dangerous driving. The investigators issued fines according to the law.
Regarding the offense of driving without regard for the safety of others' lives or bodies, investigators gathered evidence and forwarded the case to the public prosecutor for legal proceedings.
