At 09:50 on 10 Sep 2026, it was reported that Lieutenant Colonel Thatsapong Thongthach, or 'Lieutenant Colonel Ao,' the Deputy Superintendent of Bang Lamung Police Station and the suspect, remained in custody undergoing questioning in the third-floor interrogation room at Bang Lamung Police Station.
Meanwhile, officers from the Chonburi Provincial Forensic Unit arrived to collect gunpowder residue from the white Honda Civic, license plate 1กถ 8279 Bangkok, which Lieutenant Colonel Ao used to travel to the crime scene. They also took his fingerprints and gathered other evidence for the case file.
At the same time, Police Sergeant Major Rachat Thongthach, also known as 'Folke,' along with his wife and relatives, came to Bang Lamung Police Station to deliver clothing, food, and medication to Lieutenant Colonel Ao, their father.
