On 11 September 2026, reporters visited Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station and found both involved vehicles parked outside the station, each heavily damaged.
The Benz had its front bumper detached and hanging, with a police sticker from the Khon Kaen Provincial Police attached to the right corner of the windshield. The Mini Cooper’s windshield was widely cracked, the driver's side had scrape marks, and the rear was severely dented, with the bumper and license plate detached.
Police Colonel Yosawat Kaewsuebthanit, Chief of Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station, revealed that both parties know each other through contracting work and had previous conflicts at a nightclub, with the Mini Cooper party initiating the altercation, which angered the Benz driver and led to the chase seen in the video.
