Banglamung Police are urgently verifying facts related to the incident where a woman was seen crying, claiming she went to the police station to report being defrauded but found one officer asleep and another playing games. Initially, the involved officers have arranged to meet the victim for questioning to inquire about the incident.
According to a social media page “Sao Pao - This Matter Needs Attention,” a woman tried to report to a police station in Chonburi Province that she had been defrauded online. However, at the station, she found one officer asleep and another playing games, along with dismissive and rude behavior, preventing her from filing the report. The woman was upset and posted her story online after crying and recounting the experience.
Meanwhile, the “Sao Pao - This Matter Needs Attention” page also posted that “A woman posted a tearful video after being scammed and went to the police station for help, only to find one officer asleep and another playing games.”
She recounted that upon arrival at the station, she found one officer asleep and woke him to report the fraud. The officer woke up groggily and advised her to call 1441 and to go upstairs to contact staff on the second floor.
When she asked which way to go upstairs, she was told, “Take whichever way you want.”
When she reached the second floor, she found another officer playing games. Despite explaining she had been defrauded and needed assistance, the officer continued playing and told her to wait a moment. While waiting, she tried to express her concern about the 72-hour reporting deadline, but the officer interrupted repeatedly, saying, “Listen, listen, listen.”
Ultimately, she recorded a tearful video expressing frustration that when citizens are in distress, they should at least receive guidance and respectful communication from those they rely on first. She invited others who have experienced unhelpful treatment when reporting crimes to share their stories, hoping the public’s voice will reach the National Police Office.
Regarding this matter, today (16 Sep 2026), reporters confirmed the incident occurred at Banglamung Police Station in Banglamung District, Chonburi Province. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that Banglamung Police are currently verifying the facts.
