More than 10 teenagers stormed a motorcycle repair shop in Nong Chok, firing 21 shots that killed a 32-year-old man. Police are urgently reviewing CCTV footage to track down the suspects for prosecution.
At 00:30 on 18 Sep 2026, Police Lieutenant Colonel Samrit Winitchara, investigation officer at Nong Chok Police Station, received a report of a man shot dead inside a motorcycle repair shop along Liap Waree Road, Krathum Rai subdistrict, Nong Chok district, Bangkok. He went to the scene with Police Colonel Sakol Ingudmonukul, Nong Chok Police Chief, detectives, patrol officers, forensic officers, forensic doctors from Police General Hospital, and Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers.
At the scene, officers found the body of Singto Akkarattham, 32, lying dead, wearing a gray short-sleeved T-shirt and denim shorts. He had gunshot wounds to his head and body totaling 21 shots. About 20 bullet casings were found in front of the shop and collected as evidence.
Witnesses said before the incident, the victim was chatting inside the shop with three juniors when two pickup trucks parked nearby, including an orange, modified four-door pickup with unknown plates. More than 10 teenagers then entered, shouting "Anyone not involved, stay out," before opening fire on the victim. They then fled in both pickups.
Preliminary information indicates the victim lived at Ueathorn Yoowittaya housing and was an older acquaintance of the shop owner, having visited the shop about two to three times before. The identities of the suspects remain unknown.
Police are currently interviewing more witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage along the escape routes to swiftly apprehend the suspects for legal action.
