In the latest development, at 10:00 a.m. on 28 Sep 2026 GMT+7, investigators from Makkasan Police Station submitted Mr. Sorn to the Public Prosecutor at the Special Prosecutor's Office, District 2. The prosecutor filed charges against Mr. Sorn at the Phra Nakhon Nuea District Court for jointly committing acts that harassed, intimidated, or caused public nuisance in a public place or in front of the public. The defendant confessed.
The court ruled that the defendant was guilty under the Penal Code, Section 397, paragraph two, in conjunction with Section 83, sentencing him to one month in jail and fined 10,000 baht. Due to his confession, which benefited the consideration, the court mitigated the sentence under Penal Code Section 78 by half, resulting in 15 days in jail and a 5,000 baht fine. The jail sentence was suspended for one year with probation imposed for the same period. The defendant must report to a probation officer three times during probation and perform 12 hours of community service as per Penal Code Section 56.
