Deadly Shootout in Nakhon Pathom Sparks Death of Jim Kradangnga Police Interrogate Moddam Bangkae and Oppose Bail

A deadly shootout in Nakhon Pathom scattered bullet casings and sparked the death of “Jim Kradangnga.” Kamphaeng Saen police have conducted intense questioning of “Moddam Bangkae,” who faces serious charges. Bail was opposed, and he is set for detention at Nakhon Pathom Provincial Court tomorrow due to the severity of the case.

At 22:00 on 19 October 2026, Lieutenant Boonchan Thienkantet, Deputy Inspector (Investigation) of Kamphaeng Saen Police Station, Nakhon Pathom Province, was notified of a person critically injured by gunshot on a public road in Village 3, Huai Khwang Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Saen District, Nakhon Pathom. Upon notification, he informed his superiors and proceeded to the scene accompanied by Police Colonel Waranyu Kuldilok, Deputy Commander of Nakhon Pathom Police, acting Chief of Kamphaeng Saen Police, the investigative team, rescue workers from Suksa Salanukroh Foundation, and forensic officers from Unit 7.

At the scene, a large pool of blood and over 20 bullet casings were found. One helmet and a pink motorcycle bearing the license plate 2 กค 373 Nakhon Pathom lay overturned. It was identified that Mr. Prajim Iewthaworn, also known as Jim Kradangnga, 42, a resident of Village 15, Huai Khwang Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Saen, was critically injured, transported to hospital, and later died.

Local residents near the scene reported hearing over 30 gunshots before the incident. Fearful of stray bullets, no one dared to leave their homes during the shooting. After the gunfire stopped, witnesses saw a white Toyota Fortuner with Bangkok plates and a white four-door pickup truck arrive. They helped load the injured into the vehicles, which then fled in different directions.

Residents initially suspect that the deceased, Prajim or Jim Kradangnga, rode out on his motorcycle followed by a friend in the white four-door pickup. They reportedly encountered a conflict with occupants of the white Fortuner, identified as Mr. Suksawat Thabmanoch, known as Moddam Bangkae, 42, from Thonburi, Bangkok. A shooting ensued before both parties fled separately.

Preliminary information indicates the dispute arose between Mr. Sombat, a resort owner and construction contractor, and Mr. Prajim, a cattle farmer living next to the resort. They had longstanding conflicts. Prajim had hired Sombat to build a carport and bathroom, agreeing on a 200,000-baht payment. Disputes over payment and work quality led to multiple arguments. Prajim allegedly used a gun to threaten Sombat, who then filed a complaint.

Before the shooting, the parties arranged to negotiate at a convenience store near Wat Song Hong in Kamphaeng Saen. Upon seeing the rival arrive with a firearm, Prajim immediately fired and fled, prompting a chase that continued to Village 3’s public road in Huai Khwang, where the shooting occurred.

By 11:00, reports indicated that four individuals from Prajim’s side were involved: one arrested and two fled, all charged with attempted murder.

On Sombat’s side, no injuries were reported. Six were involved, four arrested, two fled. They face charges of murder and attempted murder.

Most recently, at 16:40, reporters confirmed that Kamphaeng Saen investigators are interrogating Mr. Suksawat Thabmanoch, or Moddam Bangkae. Authorities plan to detain him at Nakhon Pathom Provincial Court on 21 October, opposing bail during the investigation phase due to the serious and violent nature of the case.
