Found: “Jay Beer Kon La Yam” Live-Streams Ice Use, Urine Test Shows Purple, Agrees to Rehab

Found! “Jay Beer Kon La Yam” live-streamed using ice, taunted police, then fled back to his hometown in Prachuap. Police tracked him down; his urine test showed purple, and he signed consent to enter drug rehabilitation.

On 23 Oct 2026 GMT+7, reporters updated on a viral TikTok live clip of popular influencer “Jay Beer Kon La Yam,” or Mr. Songkiat Hasung, 39, who appeared to be using drugs during the live stream. He challenged police with remarks like “I’m not afraid of the police, only scared if my mother scolds me at home,” sparking widespread public criticism.

Previously, Pol. Col. Sarawut Nuchnat, chief of Bang Lamung Police Station, and investigators inspected a daily rental room in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, after learning it was where Mr. Songkiat live-streamed. The room matched the clip’s visuals and contained a modified pink water bottle resembling drug paraphernalia, which was seized as evidence.

However, officers found Mr. Songkiat absent during the inspection, as he had left the room around 05:30 on 22 Oct before the noon inspection, despite the room’s check-out scheduled for 12:00 the same day.

Recently, Bang Lamung police traced Mr. Songkiat, aka “Jay Beer Kon La Yam,” through CCTV footage and investigations, discovering he returned to his hometown in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. He was also found live-streaming on TikTok while eating at his home. Authorities coordinated with Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan police to locate and apprehend him for drug testing.

Initial urine testing at Prachuap Khiri Khan Hospital returned positive for methamphetamine, a substance found in yaba and ice drugs. Following these results, Mr. Songkiat, 39, signed consent to enter drug rehabilitation before being temporarily released by police.

Meanwhile, Bang Lamung police in Chonburi continue gathering further evidence, including the live stream, accommodation records, and suspected paraphernalia found in the rented room, to support additional prosecution for drug use. They are also investigating whether the live-streamed drug use violates the Computer Crime Act. If so, a summons for charges will be issued.
