“Je Beer Khon La Yam” still smiles, admitting to ongoing drug use. She claimed using drugs live on stream was to please fans who transferred money quickly, adding that her actions were not due to loss of control but a way to defy life. Authorities are preparing to press one more charge.
On 24 Oct 2026 GMT+7, reports stated that the investigation team at Bang Lamung Police Station executed a Pattaya Provincial Court arrest warrant No. 599/2569 to detain "Je Beer Khon La Yam," also known as Mr. Songkiat Hasung, 39, at his home on Thetsaban Bamrung Road, Prachuap Khiri Khan City, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. He is accused of encouraging, inciting, promoting, deceiving, threatening, or forcing others to use Category 1 narcotics and personal use of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) in violation of the law. This follows "Je Beer Khon La Yam" displaying drug use-like behavior during a live stream on social media (TikTok) inside a daily hotel in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province (See related news: "Je Beer Khon La Yam" caught at home on drug inducement charges, facing up to 10 years in prison).
Most recently, at 23:00 on 23 Oct 2026 GMT+7, the Bang Lamung Police investigation team escorted “Je Beer Khon La Yam,” or Mr. Songkiat Hasung, 39, to Bang Lamung Police Station in Chonburi Province. “Je Beer,” or Mr. Songkiat, revealed that he admits to using ice continuously. On the day he live-streamed drug use, he did it because fans commented, "Je, have you topped up today?" Seeing this, he felt challenged and responded, "Then transfer 1,000 baht and watch me smoke." Immediately after saying this, 1,000 baht was transferred to his account. Having said it, and not wanting to back down, he proceeded to use ice live on the stream.
“Je Beer” also said he acknowledges that what he did was wrong, but that day he was not out of his mind. Sometimes he just wants to defy life. “When I do good things like making delicious salad or serving customers well, no one talks about it. But when I do something bad, like showing drug use, every page and channel spreads the news.”
“Je Beer” concluded by saying he will not apologize to fans because the fault is his own. Regarding live-streaming drug use, he said, “If you have no mind or brains, you’ll do it and shouldn’t be stopped. But if you have awareness, don’t do it.”
Initially, the Bang Lamung Police investigation team will conduct further questioning and file an additional charge under the Computer Crime Act for importing information likely to cause damage to national security or public panic. Over 4,000 viewers watched the live drug use stream.
