Police detained "Chairat," admin of the Godd Dam page, and searched a dormitory in Bang Khen. A human rights lawyer challenged the search warrant for exceeding the authorized time by just one minute. Some documents were seized as evidence for examination purposes.
Cyber police from Technology Crime Suppression Division 1 arrested Chairat Rekhawatthana, 26, admin of the “Godd dam” page, related to a post showing a 7 million baht slip alleging that someone transferred money to the Prime Minister, claiming it was a bribe.
At 18:00, Pol. Col. Natthaphon Rattanamongkolsak, Superintendent of Division 3, Technology Crime Suppression Division 4, together with officers from Division 4, took Chairat Rekhawatthana, 26, to search a room on the 4th floor, Room 4, of a dormitory in Soi Phahonyothin 53, Anusawari Subdistrict, Bang Khen District, Bangkok. Police from Bang Khen Police Station's investigation unit observed the operation.
Reporters said when officers from Division 4 arrived, they presented the criminal court search warrant no. K.646/2569 dated 28 Oct 2026, to summon Chairat for a search of the room. The warrant was shown to the dormitory owner and read aloud to Chairat, with his lawyer from the Human Rights Lawyers' Center present. The lawyer then raised an objection, noting the warrant authorized a search until 18:00 or completion, but at the time the warrant was being read, it was about 18:03—about 2-3 minutes past the deadline. The lawyer asked if this was legally proper. Police explained the suspect arrived at 17:59 and the process began then. The lawyer then accepted the explanation.
Police then invited Chairat to go upstairs to search the room on the 4th floor. The lawyer requested to accompany him but media were not allowed to follow upstairs.
At 19:00, after about one hour of searching, officers brought Chairat down from the room and took him to the Technology Crime Suppression Division 1 at Chaeng Watthana Government Complex for further questioning.
Reports stated that during the search, officers seized some documents as evidence to be examined and to gather additional proof.
