Oysri Gives Police Statement, Pushes Forward Investigation of Doing Good Foundation, Affirms Pure Intentions

"Oysri" gave a statement to police after filing a complaint against the Doing Good Foundation and Boom Panadda, pressing on with investigating whether donation funds were used according to their intended purpose. She emphasized that foundation board members remain responsible even if they resign from their positions.

At 10:30 a.m. on 31 Oct 2016 GMT+7 at the Central Investigation Bureau, Ms. Boonyanuch Saengsri, known as Oysri, owner of the Facebook page "Oysri and Friends," along with Mr. Phuwakorn Srinean from HETA, the Ethics Alliance for Organizations, Foundations, and Media, acting as representatives of the victims, submitted documents and gave statements to investigators at the Economic Crime Division. This follows their complaint accusing the Doing Good Foundation and Boom Panadda Wongpudi of fraud, computer crime, and money laundering for misusing donated funds.

Oysri said her visit to the police was a routine statement as a victim and involved party. Regarding questions about the small donation amount of only 1,000 baht, she said that although the amount is small, her intentions are sincere. She challenged Boom Panadda's side on whether past donation collections were truly transparent and whether the transferred funds were used according to the foundation’s objectives, noting that some receiving accounts were personal bank accounts.

"I have the right to criticize because suspicious behavior was observed, such as discussions with lawyers without evidence," she said. "I am ready to prove all facts and confirm I have never volunteered with that side before." Initial checks revealed use of personal bank accounts to receive donations before passing funds to others. Police are urgently auditing all financial flows; donation amounts via lawyer Keng and others are being compiled precisely.

She also requested a retroactive investigation of all foundation board members. "Even if they have resigned, the damage occurred while they were still on the board. Resignation does not absolve responsibility," she said. She urged police to summon all members for questioning. Regarding the so-called Last Boss revealed by lawyer Decha, she said, "You would need to ask lawyer Decha if this person truly exists, as I have tried to ask but he wouldn’t say."

Oysri also asked police to investigate bank account information of Boom Panadda, who had posted on social media that her account was previously frozen. She wants to verify if the frozen account was personal or a foundation account, and whether it has since been reactivated.

Additionally, Oysri said she plans to publicly disclose information and follow up on other cases of public interest to ensure society receives a comprehensive understanding, not just one-sided information. Addressing questions about why she did not investigate the Power Man Foundation due to close ties with Gun Jompaeng, she said she had told Gun directly that if complaints arise of misusing donated money, she would investigate as well. She added that lawyer Tum is already conducting a thorough investigation of Gun Jompaeng.
