Cyber Police Raid pharuey Paruay Online Gambling Network, Southern Thailands Major Website with Over 120 Million Baht Turnover

Cyber police raided the "pharuey Paruay" online gambling network, a major operator in southern Thailand, secretly operating a base in Krabi province. The network has been active for over five years with a turnover exceeding 120 million baht.

At 09:30 on 1 Nov 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Lt. Gen. Thinkorn Rangmat, Commissioner of the Technology Crime Suppression Division, along with Pol. Maj. Gen. Arut Saengchan, Deputy Commissioner, ordered Pol. Col. Chairat Warunno, Deputy Commander of Division 2, and other senior officers to lead an investigation team with a search warrant from the Krabi Provincial Court to raid a major online gambling network in southern Thailand with a total turnover exceeding 120 million baht.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Thinkorn Rangmat said the investigation team from Division 4, Technology Crime Suppression Division 2, identified websites named ".pharuey.asia" and ".pharuey.info" with over 140,000 members combined. The sites have operated for more than five years, generating an average monthly turnover of over 10 million baht, or more than 120 million baht annually. They have illegally offered various online gambling services including foreign football betting, lottery, slots, baccarat, dragon tiger, hi-lo, pokdeng, and many other games.

The system allowed automatic bank account transfers for gambling deposits, direct withdrawal requests via the website, and had website administrators who assisted or acted on behalf of the site in matters such as registration issues, financial transactions, and promoting online gambling participation on the platform.

The investigation revealed that this gambling website secretly operated a base in Krabi province. Authorities gathered evidence and obtained court approval for search warrants targeting locations linked to this gambling network.

The investigation team executed search warrants in Krabi province numbered 323/2569 dated 31 Oct 2026 GMT+7, searching two houses in Village No. 2, Khlong Phon Subdistrict, Khlong Thom District, Krabi. They arrested Kanitnan Jaisongkroh, 27, from Phuket, and seized as evidence four desktop computers, one laptop, and a total of ten internet-related devices.

During questioning, Kanitnan admitted to working as an administrator for over a year, responsible for customer contact, managing deposits, and resolving issues related to gambling access on this website. He received a monthly salary of 20,000 baht.

He was charged with "conspiring to organize gambling, or acting as an agent to advertise or solicit others to participate in online gambling via electronic media without official permission." The suspect and seized items were handed over to the Khlong Thom police for further legal action.
