"Noom Kanchai" sends a message to "Boom Panadda" urging her to tell the whole truth, emphasizing that truth will protect herself, and stressing that if any donation money is found to be misused, it would be disappointing.
At 3:00 p.m. on 3 November 2026, reports stated that at the Central Investigation Police Headquarters (CIB), Mr. Phudit Kamnoedploy, known as Noom Kanchai, a famous TV host, met with investigators from the Economic Crime Division to provide information regarding his donation to the Good Deeds Foundation. He revealed he had donated 1 million baht once in September 2024 to support relief and recovery efforts for flood victims in Northern Thailand, likely in Chiang Rai province or Mae Sai district, though he was not certain of the exact details.
Noom Kanchai said the donation was made without any private discussions or coordination behind the scenes. At that time, he saw there was a fundraising campaign to help flood victims and felt that people in the north were suffering, so he decided to donate. He did not even inform the foundation that he was the donor, and after transferring the money, he did not follow up or think further about it.
At that time, if he recalls correctly, he donated to two places: first, the Good Deeds Foundation of Ms. Panadda Wongphudee, known as "Boom Panadda," and the other was a personal donation of 1 million baht to Mr. Gun Jomphalang, giving 1 million baht to each.
Noom Kanchai continued that regarding concerns about the financial path of the Good Deeds Foundation and whether donations were used for other purposes, he personally does not question what the donated money was spent on but expects that the funds remain within the foundation to be used solely for helping people as intended. He understands that many donors contributed during that time and there might be leftover funds, but he hopes the money stays within the organization to continue assisting those in need.
When asked if the police specified any particular information they wanted, Noom said the officers only requested him to provide information without detailing specific questions. He was informed that other individuals would also be summoned, including Mr. Phut Apiwan, who had come earlier that morning, as well as Chompoo Araya and Bella Ranee. He acknowledged this and agreed to provide information.
The documents he provided to investigators included only copies of the donation transfer slips. He did not bring other documents because he did not request a receipt for tax deduction purposes. This was unrelated to any company transactions since his sole intention was to help flood victims, without consideration of tax benefits.
Asked if he regretted donating the 1 million baht, Noom responded that he did not feel regret, seeing it as a charitable act. However, if later it is found that anyone used the money improperly or inappropriately, that person must take responsibility for their actions, whoever they may be.
Asked whether he would feel disappointed if the investigation finds the donations were used improperly, he said that since the facts about when or how the money was spent are not yet clear, he does not want to judge now. But if ultimately it turns out the funds he donated explicitly for flood relief were used for unrelated personal purposes, such as buying a house or bags, that would be very disappointing as it would betray the donors' intentions.
Regarding Boom Panadda admitting some mistakes and stating she tried to repay the foundation with her own money, Noom said he would not interfere as it is her right to explain the details herself. Having known her since youth, he still supports her and hopes the situation is not as concerning as if she was truly deceived. Ultimately, the financial trail is a matter for police investigation, an unavoidable process.
Asked if he believes Boom was deceived by her husband, Noom said he cannot answer yet but has some doubts. He questioned why, if Mr. Gott, Boom’s husband, had deceived her from the start, he did not come forward earlier but only recently explained the situation, as this delay may have caused more trouble for Boom.
Noom also mentioned previous discussions on his program, noting that explanations from each party remain unclear and have not resolved doubts, especially regarding the construction of a pool villa in Phuket. Boom stated she was unaware of the construction, but the contractor, Mr. Apichart, told the program he was aware, raising questions about who is telling the truth and whose information is inconsistent.
Noom revealed that after their on-air conversation the previous day, he contacted Boom via LINE, but their exchange was limited to sending emojis with no detailed discussion.
Asked why many celebrities and public figures chose to donate to Boom in large amounts, he said it is a matter of trust. Donors typically choose people or organizations close to them and trustworthy. He himself has donated to other foundations as well, such as the Friends in Need Foundation and other social aid organizations, without dividing by group. He decided to donate to Boom Panadda because he saw her actively helping flood victims and trusted her work.
Asked if the current situation affects his feelings or makes him feel bad, Noom said he does not feel that way yet, as he wants to wait for the facts to become clear. So far, there are only accusations and some evidence that may point to Boom, but she still has the right to explain her side through proper procedures.
Regarding whether he would continue to support or trust Boom if she fully clarifies the facts, Noom said it would take time. If what she claims—that she was truly deceived—is true, she needs time to prove herself. However, regaining public trust quickly is difficult because public confidence may have already diminished. Even if proven innocent, she might still face criticism for some time, especially concerning donated funds from the public.
Asked if he has any advice for Boom in this situation, Noom said it is difficult to advise, but he wants to tell her to tell the whole truth. The truth is what will protect us, whether mistakes were made or not. If one tells the truth and is innocent, they can prove themselves. If at fault, admitting the truth may lessen the severity. It all depends on what has been done.
Noom Kanchai also urged Boom Panadda, with society watching closely, to tell all the facts because the truth is the most important thing to protect herself and her family. This case is serious as it involves public donations, some from people who are poor, earning only 100–200 baht a day but willing to give 100 baht from their limited income. Some might survive on that amount for 3–4 days but still willingly give it to help those truly in need. He hopes those involved will reconsider whether their actions are appropriate.
Regarding lawyer Decha Kittiwityanan’s statement on the "Hone Krasae" program that soon a male influencer will reveal similar information, Noom said he does not know who that might be but assures it is definitely not him. He concluded with the saying, "Time will tell the truth about horses and people."
