Noom Kanchai Disappointed After Providing Information on Boom Donation Case, Perspective Completely Changed

Noom Kanchai expressed disappointment after providing testimony regarding the donation case involving Boom Panadda. He admitted feeling almost overwhelmed after reviewing police information, saying his view changed completely as everything he once believed was disproved.

At 4:30 p.m. on 3 Nov 2026 GMT+7, it was reported that Noom Kanchai, a well-known news anchor, went to give testimony to officers from the Economic Crime Suppression Division, spending over one to two hours.

After giving testimony, Noom Kanchai revealed that the information and facts he learned that day completely shattered all the trust he had previously held in Boom Panadda Wongpudi. His perspective changed drastically, comparing how he felt when entering the interrogation room versus when he left.

Noom Kanchai warned all involved parties or those who had donated money to come forward to give testimony and clarify facts with the police. He also urged anyone who believes they are a victim to meet with police officials.

Regarding his legal status in the case, Noom Kanchai said he currently appears as a witness, not as a complainant filing charges. However, in the future, his status might change to that of a victim or complainant, depending on the police investigation’s direction, though he could not specify when.

On the issue of the money lost, Noom Kanchai stated he does not regret the money he donated at all but simply wants a clear answer about the truth of the matter.

Additionally, addressing society’s view that as a top-level journalist he should not have become a victim, he said this was unavoidable due to trust. He is one of 1,800,000 accounts that transferred money for charity or donations. He could not say when the situation will resolve and said the police must continue their investigation.
