Sergeant Pak Kret Police Station sergeant assaulted Commando until he was injured and unconscious at a karaoke bar. The sergeant has now been suspended, with legal proceedings and a serious disciplinary committee established.
Regarding the case, a video clip emerged showing a sergeant from Pak Kret Police Station and his group assaulting a commando police officer who was injured and lost consciousness at a karaoke bar in the Muang Thong Thani area. The incident occurred on 31 Oct 2026 GMT+7.
Most recently, at 10:00 on 4 Nov 2026 GMT+7, a meeting was held at Pak Kret Police Station in the Phutthaisong meeting room. Present were Pol. Maj. Gen. Thammanoon Chaowavanich, Commander of Nonthaburi Provincial Police; Pol. Col. Chokchai Khanacharoen, Deputy Commander; Pol. Col. Adirek Thongkaemkaew, Chief of Pak Kret Police Station; Pol. Lt. Col. Karun Limpirojanarit, Deputy Chief; and Pol. Lt. Col. Kongpisit Pruksachiva, Deputy Chief of the Investigation Division. They discussed the case for about half an hour.
Afterward, a press conference was held, stating that the information had been verified in accordance with the video footage, confirming the suspect is a sergeant affiliated with Pak Kret Police Station.
Initial investigations indicate the cause was alcohol intoxication. The opposing party reportedly claimed to be a commando officer, leading to a verbal argument and subsequent physical altercation as shown in the video. The sergeant has since been summoned for questioning and formally charged.
If the medical report from the opposing party arrives promptly, the case will be forwarded to court immediately. Preliminary charges include jointly assaulting another causing injury. The severity of the injuries will be determined once medical results are received.
Additionally, a committee will be established to investigate the facts and a separate committee will conduct a serious disciplinary review. During the inquiry, the sergeant has been reassigned to duties at the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Command Center.
It is emphasized that this incident is a personal conflict and unrelated to any official unit. Authorities do not want the case interpreted as inter-agency conflict. The suspect initially stated the incident arose due to intoxication.
However, it is known that the sergeant apologized by presenting a gift basket to the commando officer, and they have reconciled. Nonetheless, legal action will continue.
