Bum Panadda Shares Moments Waiting for Arrest Warrant, Entrusts Children to Grandmother, Apologizes to Society for Disappointment

The lawyer explained the meaning of "accepting sole responsibility."

Regarding reports of an imminent arrest warrant issuance, Bum Panadda Wongpudi, in the case involving funds of the Do Good Foundation, as previously reported,

At 17:00 on 5 Nov 2026, it was reported that lawyer Phet Eksit Srisang, along with Bum Panadda, gave an interview to the media outside their home in Bueng Kum, Ram Inthra, while awaiting the arrest warrant.

Bum Panadda shared her feelings, saying she is experiencing many emotions but is trying to prepare mentally. She has entrusted her children to their grandmother since they are only four and two years old. As the family's pillar, she is worried about how her children will be cared for, especially her younger child Anda. She is ready to prove her case through the justice process.

Bum Panadda added there is nothing else to say but sorry—sorry for causing disappointment, for making people feel bad in many ways, sorry to the foundation's board, and to those who love and trust her. She emphasized that while she apologizes, any wrongdoing must be addressed accordingly.

When asked about close associates filing complaints, Bum Panadda said that is their right.

Regarding the case direction, lawyer Phet said that based on past cases and their sincere intentions and legal efforts, they hope to exercise their rights. However, if the court does not permit, they are prepared to accept all outcomes.

When asked about Bum Panadda’s statement of "accepting sole responsibility," lawyer Phet explained that when she said "accepting sole responsibility," the board members were likely in a difficult position. He said they never denied any wrongdoing from the start, but wrongdoing can vary—from procedural violations to obligations to compensate the foundation. However, criminal offenses such as embezzlement or fraud require factual proof. This is what accepting responsibility means.

Regarding the financial trails, lawyer Phet said that as these serve as forensic evidence collected by the police, no matter how skilled the defense lawyers are, they cannot alter this. Therefore, they must accept the facts and be truthful with the police.

Before returning inside, Bum Panadda expressed gratitude for the ongoing support and for those who have not added to her burden. She said her daughter has been a constant source of strength, showing great resilience.
