Search of Observatory at Got Athips House in Pathum Thani Finds Two Luxury Cars Without License Plates

Authorities, armed with a court warrant, coordinated a search of the "Observatory" at Got Athip's house in the Pathum Thani area. They found two luxury vehicles without license plates parked under a tent in front of the house, along with many packs of bottled water around the site.

The case involves the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) gathering evidence and submitting a petition to the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road to obtain arrest warrants for Panadda Wongpudi, also known as "Boom Panadda," and her husband, Got Athip, on 5 Nov 2026. They also requested search warrants for targeted locations believed to be used in committing offenses or hiding evidence.

The latest update on 6 Nov 2026 at 07:00 reported that at the Observatory residence covering 4 rai on Liab Khlong 9 Road, Village 7, Bueng Kham Subdistrict, Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani Province, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) deployed over 10 officers with a search warrant from the Ratchada Criminal Court to inspect this house, which is Got Athip's residence and one of four targeted locations.

Officers tried shouting to those inside the Observatory house and waited for over an hour but received no response. The door was locked.

Ms. Jantana Sudsawat, the village head of Village 7, Bueng Kham Subdistrict, Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani, said that from what she knew, soil was brought in to fill the land starting around 2024. The caretaker claimed the land was purchased in the name of "Khun Boom," but she never saw Khun Boom personally visit the area. Construction began around 2024 and continued gradually. The property covers about 4 rai and is set back from Liab Khlong Road, so locals rarely see activity or trucks entering and leaving clearly. The area is usually kept locked.

Previously, representatives submitted documents related to obtaining a house number and coordinated with local government agencies, including the subdistrict administrative organization and district office. Land deed documents presented show the owner as "Khun Athip." Since construction began, no representatives or related persons have asked for donations or distributed goods to local residents, nor held events or gatherings to enliven the area. The property remains relatively closed off with little visible activity.

At 08:25, a caretaker arrived with a key, identifying himself as a worker at the house. Officials read the court warrant and requested to conduct the search as required. Upon entering, they found two luxury cars without license plates parked under a tent in front of the house, covered with tarps, along with packs of bottled water placed around. Officers proceeded to search and collect evidence, while some also searched inside the single-story house, the observatory, and two other single-story buildings on the property.

Police inspected a black BMW sedan without license plates and found the driver's and rear seats removed, with numerous wires hanging inside. Preliminary checks revealed both luxury cars were purchased legally by Got Athip. He bought over ten vehicles damaged by flooding in Hat Yai, presumed to be flood-damaged cars.
