Central Investigation Bureau Cuts Locks to Search Bum Panadda Foundation Lawyer Reports No Irregularities Found

The Central Investigation Bureau cut locks to search the "Bum Panadda" foundation in Pathum Thani after the keys were held by "Gott Athip." A lawyer stated that the building is used for storage and no irregularities were found there yet found.

At 06:30 on 6 Nov 2026, officers from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Cyber Crime Suppression Division, led by Police Colonel Chamnarn Chanthat, Commander of Division 4, along with Deputy Commander and Police Lieutenant Colonel Satit Hawongchai, coordinated with the Thanyaburi District Chief, local security officers, and lawyers for the Good Deeds Foundation. They presented court warrant No. 6782569 dated 5 June 2026 to search and seize illegal items as evidence at the Good Deeds Foundation, 5219 Moo 4, Lam Phak Kut Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province.

However, upon arrival, officers faced obstacles accessing the site because the main electric remote-controlled gate was locked, and the smaller door was padlocked from inside. The foundation's lawyers did not have keys and could not contact Athip Anantawan, or "Gott," husband of Bum Panadda Wongpudi, the key holder. Officials then contacted Bum Panadda Wongpudi, a well-known actress, presenter, and foundation president, who consented and authorized officers to cut the locks to proceed.

At 07:30, officers requested lock-cutting equipment support from Thanyaburi Municipality’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation unit. It took over 10 minutes to cut and open the door due to rusted padlocks unused for a long time. After successfully entering, CIB officers dispersed to thoroughly inspect various buildings on site according to legal procedures.

A lawyer from the team representing Eksit Srisang, known as Lawyer Phet, revealed that the building is merely a storage area. No irregularities were initially found; only donated dry food packed for distribution was present. Behind the building, boats and vehicles were parked as usual. The building keys are believed to be with Athip. The lawyer was assigned to assist officials during the search. Access to other parts of the premises is still pending, with efforts underway to find ways to open and inspect them.

Further updates will be provided.
