Lawyer Phet visited Boom Panadda before the police planned to request the Criminal Court to detain her for the first time. He revealed that his client is mentally prepared to accept everything, while decisions about bail will be discussed further before proceeding.
On 7 Nov 2026 GMT+7, in front of the Pitak Santi Building at the Central Investigation Bureau, Mr. Eksit Srisang, also known as Lawyer Phet, the attorney for Ms. Panadda Wongpudi, or Boom Panadda, arrived at 07:00 before the investigators took Boom Panadda and her husband, Mr. Athip, to request the Criminal Court's first detention at 10:00, with bail opposed.
Lawyer Phet stated that the morning was still part of the ongoing investigation. Regarding preparing assets to request bail in court and other legal proceedings, he said he would consult with his client first to determine how much detail could be disclosed. He promised to provide updates if there were any developments.
Regarding the mental state of Boom Panadda and Mr. Athip after being detained and interrogated overnight, Lawyer Phet said both were held in a detention room at the rear of the building. He added that he believed they had come to terms with everything that had happened and were ready to face whatever would happen next, before hurrying inside the building to coordinate further visits with his client.
